For track already laid in the roadbed, 332-02 Over-Joiner Rail Clamps install over existing slip joiners. They strengthen the joint in all 3 dimensions and provide improved conductivity. (If the existing slip joiner is deformed or badly corroded, remove it and use a 332-01 or 332-03 rail clamp.)
